The Mortgage Registration Processor will receive and enter loan applications for IBMC's Full Service and Alliance Department in compliance with investor and secondary market guidelines.
Ensures compliance with governmental guidelines as outlined by internal Quality Control/Compliance and outside investors. Stays updated on changes in programs/product guidelines through education provided by IBMC or outside vendors.
Enters Conventional, FHA, VA, Rural Development and IFA application data into LOS system, pulls borrower's credit, runs applicable AUS system and submits to IBMC underwriting department. Provides accurate disclosures and/or Notice of Action Taken to borrower(s) and banker(s). Assigns loan file to Processor. Manages appraisal and title deliveries via email. Processes Incomplete Notices. Manages TBD applications, when applicable.
Maintains and provides assistance to bankers and borrowers with questions through daily interaction via telephone calls and emails.
Provides back up to Mortgage Processing Production on ordering servicing including but not limited to termite inspection, title, verifications, transcripts and social security verifications.
Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Required Work Experience: Two plus years mortgage related experience with at least 1 year processing conventional, FHA, VA, IFA and RD loans and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technology Skills: Previous use of DU/DO/LP systems along with usage of origination or operating software, specific to the mortgage industry.
Required Skills or traits: Exposure and understanding of credit reporting, title work, basic income analysis and various other ares of the mortgage process.
