Primary position responsibilities are to perform a variety of accounting, financial, audit and specialized work that supports the maintenance and recordkeeping of financial data for all divisions of the Company. Will manage all aspects of the bank operations and customer service areas.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Adhere to accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal control environment is effective, efficient and in compliance with regulations.
Assists in the preparation of call reports and various regulatory reports.
Process and oversee daily incoming and outgoing cash letters, wires, and ACH files.
Balancing accounts with correspondent banks.
Responsible for balancing of General Ledger and verification of bank in balance.
Ensures daily operations duties are complete and timely
Responsible for the oversight, training, and development of operations and customer service staff.
Involved with recruitment, discipline and termination of operations personnel.
Will assist as Customer Service Representative when needed.
Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities, including business, charitable, civic and social organizations to maintain a proper responsible citizen stature for the Company.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years prior banking experience.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task
