Responsible for overseeing team of project managers. Prepares, executes, develops and communicates project plans and milestones to ensure deliverables are met; manages processes and teams to accomplish project goals.
Directly supervises project managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responds and resolves a variety of complex issues in relation to project management.
Serves as a project manager on all high-profile projects.
Assists with business case documentation.
Oversee all aspects of projects to include due diligence, initiation, planning, execution and closing stages; define project scope, identifying and documenting risks, objectives, requirements, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Participates in ERM review to capture data for projects.
Manage and implement project changes/interventions to achieve completion; act as a liaison to expedite projects or problem resolution.
Provide in developing sound project strategy; perform system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and to alleviate bottlenecks
Conduct project post implementation reviews
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Represents the bank in a positive light in all professional duties. Participates in civic and community affairs, functions, and organizations promoting a positive involved “community image” for the bank.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Project Management Certification in PMP, MPM, Prince2 preferred
Strong proficiency and recent experience in utilizing Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Web App. This must include the setting up of project plans, resources and daily tracking of each
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management
Prior supervisor or team leader experience preferred
Strong presentation skills and presentation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
