The Collections Specialist is responsible for following up on delinquent customer accounts within established portfolio both Domestic and International (focus: Middle East) to collect payment on overdue CAP invoices.
Core Job Responsibilities
Monitor and review of bankruptcy filings to support the filing of documents in a timely manner.
Providing overall collection support related to customer credit holds, credit checks, disputed items to ensure accurate customer receivable balances.
Adhere to the collection strategy including maintaining accurate, factual commentary of customer collection history.
At as a liaison with CAP International region leaders and varies CAP groups in the resolution of customer specific issues and requests.
Maintain customer credit holds and credit limit to ensure orders are processed timely in accordance to customer payment history.
Review and monitor bankruptcy documents to support timely filing of documents.
Collaborate with CSF Staff, Collection Supervisor, CFS Sr. Manager on ongoing enhancements to CFS collection processes and procedures.
Work with CAP staff in various areas to research and resolve customer issues and disputes.

Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Accounts Receivable and Collection applications
Oracle experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline preferred.
Three to five years related experience required.
