Assists Commercial Real Estate lenders with the underwriting of new loan and renewal requests and portfolio management of the Lenders credit portfolio. Obtains information necessary for loan underwriting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enters information in CRM loan summary and approval/CRM relationship worksheet as requested
Pulls Credit Reports, EDR, AVM, assessments and flood determinations as requested
Completes loan/renewal setup
Sends Credit Administration new/renewal setup sheet and supporting loan documentation for production of loan package
Reviews loan documents received from Credit Administration
Preps loan package for booking by Loan Ops.
Chooses appropriate checklist based on type of loan being booked. Insures that all documents on the checklist are addressed in the loan package, are accurate, and in order
Manages, reviews, and assists lenders in clearing all document exceptions identified by Credit Administration. This would include contacting the customer to address any deficiencies noted.
Updates and maintains credit files with current financial information as necessary which includes contacting borrower and requesting information
Tracks and manages securing any missing evidence of insurance information for the loan portfolio
Files loan documents either in paper files or to the scanning department
Keys wire transfers as requested by customers per bank policies and procedures
Issues advances on lines of credit, as requested by customers, after Credit Administration approval per bank policies and procedures
Quotes payoffs per customer requests
Responds to requests for customer credit information
Interacts directly with the customer as necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position
Assists multiple lenders as directed by your supervisor
Adheres to all bank compliance policies (BSA, Security, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from four-year College or university preferred or 6 months - 2 years bank experience or equivalent education in bank lending, loan review/document preparation/compliance procedure and policies.
In addition, knowledge of loan accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data is required.
Basic computer skills are needed to perform this position

Ability to navigate bank software applications that are pertinent to this position
