The Underwriter II evaluates credit and property risks for Conventional, FHA, and Rural Development loans from affiliated banks and correspondents lenders.
Performs a preliminary and final review of FHA, Rural Development, Conventional, VA and IFA applications for Heritage and Alliance loan applications
Establish property values and appraisal analysis for HUD, VA, USDA and Conventional loans
Reviews loan files for compliance with investor guidelines
Follow IBMC loan review and quality control guidelines as files are reviewed
Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Required work experience: Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized training/certifications: Appraisal or underwriting training
