Keystone Savings Bank in looking for a full-time Personal Banker in the Pleasant Hill branch.
The Personal Banker provides a wide range of customer service through sales and service to individuals with deposit products by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
Provides extensive customer service to depositors with specific or special banking needs. Provides personal banking account advice, including suggestions for account resolution and other information to assigned customers as needed
Cross sells products and services when appropriate. Identify referral opportunities and makes relevant referrals
Processes customer transactions within established guidelines and maintains and balances cash drawer
Complies with regulatory rules and regulations
Opens all types of accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRA’s, etc.
Assists potential customers in establishing new accounts and completing customer account files
Greets customers, provides excellent customer service, and helps customers meet their financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures and confidentiality
Requirements for the qualified candidate includes the following:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of teller experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office experience
Maintain a high degree of concentration and accuracy while multi-tasking
Ability to work both independently without direct supervision as well as with a team; minimal daily supervision
Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
Ability to work under pressure to meet pressing deadlines
Preferred qualifications include the following:
One year of account opening experience
Previous compliance or Bank Secrecy Act experience preferred but not required
Precision Banking Software (Fiserv) including Business Process Manager and Integrated Teller Software

In the early 1900’s, the town of Keystone, Iowa had two banks, German State Bank and Farmers Savings Bank. When the depression hit, both banks failed and the State Banking Department was placed in charge in 1932. To meet the needs of the community, Keystone Savings Bank officially opened for business on April 27, 1935.
Today, Keystone Savings Bank continues to be a strong community bank in Iowa and is owned by 22 shareholders primarily from the Benton County area. Through the years, the bank has grown and added branches in Marengo (1995), Center Point (2004), Pleasant Hill (2007) and Victor (2018).
