The Contract Administrator (“CA”) is a position with Presidio's strategic hardware, software and services acquisition resource, Presidio Technology Capital ("PTC"). PTC has been providing creative and innovative financing solutions for technology acquisition and usage for over 40 years. The CA will negotiate standard and non-standard terms and conditions related to the financing of technology for both commercial and government customers. The CA will take ownership of the document negotiation lifecycle process which will begin with customer requested documentation changes which the CA will review for acceptability to PTC and Lender for both business and legal purposes. The CA will maintain ownership of the document negotiation life cycle and will propose and incorporate approved alternate language resulting in an executable contract in which all parties have reached a mutual agreement. Determination of the accuracy and completeness of relevant facts will be necessary in order to create customer documentation subject to PTC and Lender requirements. The position requires:
·Equipment leasing industry experience
·Contract negotiation experience
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor degree; JD or Paralegal designation preferred
Lead or participate in proposed negotiations with customer. Engage directly with customer’s contract team or legal counsel
Contemporaneously collaborate with the appropriate internal and Lender team members to incorporate acceptable negotiated language into PTC documentation in accordance with credit approval parameters
Final negotiations should result in the reasonable expectations of each party and provide a legal framework which the parties will operate within under a future set of circumstances
Secure business, legal and Lender approvals in accordance with PTC’s Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliance requirements
Prepare negotiated documents, amendments, addendums and waivers
Review and Approval of Customer Documentation
Review and secure approval of all negotiated and modified PTC documentation, non-PTC documentation, state and local government documentation or other special documentation prior to issuance to the customer
Ensure documentation strictly adheres to standard PTC documentation and process requirements
Confirm documentation meets approved PTC pricing, structure requirements and meets terms and conditions of credit approval
Work with Syndication Specialists, Transaction Coordinators and Legal to monitor contractual process flow within the organization
Set proper turnaround time expectations and provide Sales team and other internal and external stakeholders with regular status updates
Maintain library of substitution or alternative language used in approved negotiated documents
Research statutes, regulations or any issues that may impact contracts and report results
Identify, develop and bring to fruition short term and long term projects
Manage and lead projects as requested by VPS or other management team members
Participate in response preparation for state and local government requests for proposal (“RFP”) to ensure documentation will be acceptable to PTC and Lender without indemnification
Required basic knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Have basic understanding of equipment leasing terminology
Must be comfortable speaking to an executive level audience
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures
Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills with a strong service orientation focus
Ability to anticipate and forecast problem areas
Strong critical thinking, appropriate judgement and decision making skills
Ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization
Leasing Contract Knowledge, Thorough Documentation Knowledge, Proficient Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat X Standard, Cisco WebEx and DocuSign, Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills, Adaptability/Flexibility Teamwork, Dependability, Initiative, Highly Effective at Managing Multiple Priorities.
