The Retail Sales Manager’s role serves as a leader in the metro market by developing and maintaining the bank’s objectives in relation to the retail, business banking, residential, and consumer lending. Implements the personal and business banking concepts through the sale of loans, deposit accounts and other retail and small business banking services. Constantly strives to improve the profitability of the bank by obtaining new clients and increase “share of wallet” for existing clients. The Retail Sales Manager manages retail sales professionals in the market area to support our market’s strategic initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in business finance or related field or equivalent of 2 years’ experience in retail or business banking.
Excellent human relations and communications skills.
Knowledge of all retail banking services.
Experience with residential lending and/or documentation.
Knowledge of economic conditions and factors to be able to advise customers.
Understanding of loan documentation criteria and strong analytical skills.
Management experience, proven coaching and team engagement experience developing service or sales individuals.
Able to meet business objectives under minimal supervision.
