Do you have direct experience with SOX 404 internal controls over financial reporting and have prior public accounting experience in a large firm? If so, apply for the Senior Analyst-Financial Controls to assist the Manager of Financial Controls in performing the Bank’s SOX 404 internal control over financial reporting activities. This individual will provide subject matter expertise over the SOX 404 structure and process to ensure a robust system of internal control over financial reporting exist that meets the standards and guidelines of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
Review and continuously enhance the Bank’s SOX 404 processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of the Bank’s financial statements and compliance with COSO 2013 internal control framework.
Coordinate the development or enhancement of SOX 404 controls with the business unit owners of the SOX 404 business processes and controls.
Ensure proper SOX 404 documentation is developed and maintained.
Provide analysis and assist in the coordination of the Bank’s SOX 404 Committee.
Coordinate annual SOX 404 testing plans and processes with the Bank’s Internal Audit Department.
Effectively communicate with the Bank’s external audit firm on their annual audit of the Bank’s SOX 404 internal control over financial reporting.
Stay current with the PCAOB guidance on SOX 404 and other relevant SOX 404 developments.
Manage departmental internal controls and regulatory issues.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
CPA with five years' experience including direct experience with SOX 404 internal control over financial reporting; 3 years' experience in a large CPA firm preferred
Understanding of PCAOB examination process of SOX 404 controls of public companies; direct experience with this process preferred
Experience in business process walk throughs and documentation of SOX 404 business processes and internal controls. Business process analytical skills.
